Why do I love autumn?
"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower".
Albert Camus
Autumn is the most melancholy season with its grey sky and endless rain. Sometimes you get up in the morning, look through the window, see puddles, slush, bare trees and surly clouds. It seems that nature is crying for gone summer. Nevertheless you go to university recutantly, cursing the cold wet autumn. But there is something beautiful in this weather when you are at home, when you can brew a cup of hot tea and just enjoy the comfort and warmth, while the rain drops are tapping on the closed window.
But it's wrong to say that the fall is only eternal sadness and dampness. It can be quite different. Have you ever admired the autumn harmony and greatness? I have. It's impossible not to love the golden autumn, when leaves on the trees change their colours. It seems that trees and bushes sparkle with red flames and orange flushes. It's incredible, but there aren't completely indentical colours, there is variety of hues. Nature becomes a picturesque canvas filled with purple, yellow, red, scarlet, burgundy, orange, gold, ocher and pink tones. The leaves look like flowers. However, they are not young, aspiring to life and bloom primroses, but imbided the spring liveness, summer sunshine and autumn chill flowers. I especially love the days when the sun is shining weak, making the gold leaf shine even more. Particularly marvelous autumn is in Crimea. Forests, meadows and vineyards, painted as if by magic, change. The see is also change its colour. It becomes deeper and calmer. It even seems to me that everuthing in nature is getting older and wiser.
So, I love autumn, the time when everything bursts with its last beauty. It is the moment of calm and melancholy, the last breath of nature before long and cold winter.
